Silicon (Si)

Silicon (Si) provides a sturdier plant that is more resistant to drought and disease. Fertilization with silicates can increase the P-availability in the soil. Crops with high Si requirements include grasses and cereals. Other crops can also be positively affected by Si fertilization.
